The site offered a great location but the design of the single-story home did not take advantage of the spectacular views available only by standing on the roof.<\/p>\n<p>[foogallery id=&#8221;2181&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Working closely with the couple, who preferred a minimalist style, Astelier came up with a design that met that requirement, and expanded the living space to offer a true master suite and upstairs den, a large mud room including a dog wash, more storage, better traffic flow and a functional garage.
