Panoramic View House – Jackson Hole, Wyoming

The views from this mountain site are panoramic. To provide each room with its own slice of the Teton range a fan-shaped concept was proposed. A series of monolithic masonry walls were oriented toward different peaks and eroded to present a ‘ruin’. Between these plinths a light frame building was developed giving the appearance that a later inhabitant had incorporated the ruins into a new use.
